Director and PI Position at State Key Laboratory of
Reproductive Regulation & Breeding of Grassland Livestock,
Inner Mongolia University-Hohhot, P. R. China
1. Introduction of the State Key Laboratory
“State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Regulation & Breeding of Grassland Livestock” (Abbre. the State Key Laboratory) is administratively organized by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Department and operated at Inner Mongolia University-Hohhot, P. R. China. The State Key Laboratory has annual $1.5 million operation grant from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Administration and is given priority during all academic strength upgrading and discipline construction programs at Inner Mongolia University-Hohhot.
With aim to meet strategic demands of the state and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the State Key Laboratory will focus on essential and fundamental scientific issues in following fields: studying regulatory mechanism of grassland livestock reproduction, especially the genetic foundation of their advantageous traits for improving reproduction rate; uncovering interactive mechanism of livestock genetics with grassland environment; establishing grassland livestock ecological breeding model system. The State Key Laboratory strives to have significant and important contribution to the sustainable development of the grassland
livestock husbandry
2. Introduction of the positions
These positions aim to attract domestic and international well established scientists. International candidates should either hold full-time tenure track position at university or research institutes, or just have their PhD degree or about finishing their post-doctoral training with good publication records.
Particularly, we are looking for candidates having proven academic achievement in following research fields: molecular mechanism of embryo development, stem cell biology, animal and plant genetic breeding including functional gene characterization, genome editing et al; animal reproductive biotechnology; animal genetics and nutrition.
Based on candidate’s academic profiling, recruited faculty will receive annual salary before tax between $ 30K and 300K, plus benefits of houses and all pension as well as health insurance.
